3/30/11: Daily Blog

Alrighty... I handed my lab report in yesterday. I think it is good. My data table is really small because i had to make it small to fit in the doc. I also made two graphs over break. Now I am working on my presentation for tuesday. I am 16th for presentation. I traded with Jazmin because she won't be here for her presentation.

3/10/11: Daily Blog

I feel so bad about class today. I decided to clean up my tanks today since I wasn't there for class yesterday. I made the room smell horrible and I caused a flood which requires professional plumbers. I feel horrible! I hope it can be fixed. After all of this happened, I started my lab report. I will work on it for homework tonight.

3/8/11: Daily Blog

Everything in the tanks looked the same as yesterday. The water in Tank 2 did look a little browner, but that's pretty much it. I did some photos today during class too. I think today is the last day of feeding the shrimp. I think I am just going to clean out my tanks tomorrow. I did a lot of trials so I have all of the information that I need.

3/7/11: Daily Blog

Today when I arrived to class, I discovered that over the weekend, all of the brine shrimp in Tank 1 died. These brine shrimp did live longer than any of the other trials, but I think this is because the oil was really spread out. In Tank 2, all of the brine shrimp are alive. The water is looking really brown, and I don't know if this is a sign that they are going to be dying soon. Anyway, I fed the brine shrimp yeast. I am not going to do another trial after this because my point is already proven.

3/4/11: Daily Blog

Today I examined my two Tanks again. Tank 1 had 40 live brine shrimp in it. The water is starting to look brown. I don't know if this is poop, but it is pretty disgusting. In Tank 2, there were also 40 living brine shrimp. I didn't add any more oil (5mL in tank). Want to see how the brine shrimp react to this amount of oil. Oil looks like it has spread across the tank. No longer in a clump. Fed brine shrimp in both tanks a sprinkle of yeast.
